Sema was exposed to traditional dance and music since infancy, as with years her interest grew and she started attending Dance classes at high school. Noticing her passion to dance and her abilities her dance instructors started sending her to competitions.

 

Competing and traveling is a large part of Sema’s dance life growing up. She travelled throughout Europe with her program and won number of awards.

 

Enchanted audience were always asking for classes, finally upon receiving her Teaching Certificate Sema offered her first class in 2016. She devoted herself to her dance class programs by teaching different age groups starting from children with the age of 8 to adults 65. The popularity of her classes grew rapidly and in 2016 she opened her own dance school Mozaik Performans Sanatlari Atolyesi in Istanbul, Turkey.

 

Sema choreographed solo works as well as numerous group pieces for special events and celebration parties. As a dancer, she is in demand being featured as a soloist in Turkey.

 

Sema spent several years persuading a dance career in Turkey. Eventually, she moved to London and continued promoting Traditional Turkish Folk Choreography through both online and offline courses.

 

Currently, she offers online dance courses and very much enjoys it!
